Tendon Injuries
Tendon injuries / pain is a very common cause of limitations in activities of daily living / work / sports participation. shoulder / hip / knee and back of the heel pain might be related to the tendons themselves due to repetitive load, overtraining or an actual acute injury such as tendon tear.
In order to identify the source of the symptoms, the physio will conduct a thorough assessment and individualise themost appropriate personal management plan. This can help in reducing pain and swelling, as well as restoring mobility and strength to allow you to return to any activity and acheive your goals while reducing the eisk for recurrence.
If you pain in the back of your heel while or after running or feel yourself hobbling, particularly first thing in the morning. If you have a sore shoulder when you try to reach above your head / behind your back. If you have pain in the front of the knee when jumping / running. And of course if you had a traumatic injury that resulted with a tendon rupture, we can help with the recovery process and support you from start to end and make it as fast and as safe as possible.
