Stephen Taylor
Physiotherapist
Steve is an experienced physiotherapist originally from Wales, who has recently relocated to Perth, bringing with him a wealth of expertise in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Having graduated from Cardiff University, he is now in his fourth year of clinical practice, during which time he has gained a broad range of experience across various healthcare settings in the UK. His career includes work in both private practice and public health services, allowing him to treat a diverse patient population and further hone his clinical skills.
Specialising in strength and conditioning as well as sports injuries, Steve has developed a particular focus on lower limb pathologies. He has successfully guided numerous athletes through the rehabilitation process, helping them recover from acute and chronic injuries and facilitating their return to sport with optimal performance.
His rehabilitation approach integrates evidence-based manual therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities, and an individualised exercise prescription tailored to each patient’s unique biomechanical needs and functional goals. By combining these methods, Steve ensures a comprehensive and holistic recovery, addressing both the physical and psychological aspects of injury recovery.
Steve’s interest in sports performance and injury management is further informed by his own experience as a competitive powerlifter. Having competed at both national and international levels, Steve brings a first-hand understanding of the demands placed on the body during high-performance training and competition. This experience significantly enhances his ability to provide expert rehabilitation for athletes looking to return to their peak performance.
